The Import and Export Control Section issues import permit(s) or AP through the ePermit system.  Registration for an ePermit account beforehand is required before the application of AP(s).


Vehicle / Heavy Machinery/ Iron & Steel

Once an ePermit account registration has been approved, the AP applicant needs to:

  1. identify the product's tariff code(s);
  2. provide relevant information/ documentation relevant to the intended AP type application; and
  3. apply for AP(s) through the ePermit System.

 

Once an AP application is approved, a notification will be transmitted online to the Royal Malaysian Customs for their record; therefore hardcopy disclosure of AP is not required during importation.
